I did not know about this command! Do you mean "Type(*Trace)"?  as in:
ADDPEXDFN DFN(ABC) TYPE(*TRACE) SLTEVT(*YES) PGMEVT(*PRCENTRY *PRCEXIT)

Does any of this work without PT1?
