I know you "think" you are configured the same, But check some of these out (so much, its easy to miss just one thing, been there, done that)- Are both boxes at the same release and ptf level? Are the host tables set up the same (with exception of mail service - unless both are connected to the internet on the same line/ip address scheme) Can you ping the mail server on the one that is not working? Can you ping anything on the one that is not working? Are your routing tables correct/host tables/ip interfaces? Check SMTP attributes (you did run chgsmtpa autostart(*yes), and verify that the mail server name is correct)? Verify that you have run the following on the box not working - adddire usrid(internet gateway) usrd('Internet SMTP gateway') sysname(INTERNET) prefadr(NETUSRID *IBM ATCONTXT) and you ran chgdsta smtprte(internet gateway) Have you verified user profiles in the directory entry - including internet and PCHAPPOP? Is the alias table for PCHAPPOP set up correctly, and is the user running the snddst set up in the alias table too? Remember, "some" of these changes require you to end the smtp service and start it back up again to take effect. HTH Mark A. The machines are located in two different locations. I am trying to use the SDNDST command and it works fine on my machine but not on the other Can anyone point me to why the other three are not starting?
