Thanks for the info.  I pulled the control panel off and found a huge button
battery.  I actually found one at my local drug store.  Who knew?  And
people complain about the AS/400 being proprietary.  At least the battery is
an off-the-shelf commodity item.

Most likely the battery.

Had the same thing on a P01 back in the day.  3-AA batts fixed it.

I have an old E45.  Still works!  I fire it up every month or so to keep the
disks spinning.

Today I fired it up and the Dreaded Yellow Light is on.  The machine works
OK, I can sign on and all.  The only SRC code I can get is 11-2 0000 BBBB.
No qsysopr messages.  Nothing in STRSST error log.  Nothing in DSPLOG.

The box has been complaining for some time that the battery needs to be
replaced in the control panel, but never gave an SRC code.  Could it be the
battery?

Any ideas?
