I want to write a program in VB that communicates with my iSeries to return data. I do not want to use the CA router at all, just straight pure IP. Should I be looking at sockets or data queues? Is there a VB control for data queues over IP? Is there any such thing as data queues over IP? Is there something that makes working with sockets easier than the existing API's? I can use third party products. Thanks for any suggestions. Lance Gillespie Coachella Valley Water District
