I am running V5R1 and have been playing around with the SNDDST command
and it appears to work fine
with some limitations or I am missing something.

Can anyone verify the following about using SNDDST:

When using TYPE=*DOC to attach a document to my e-mail, I cannot furnish
a subject to the e-mail?
It puts the attached file name in the subject line automatically.
When using TYPE=*DOC I can only attach a single document to the e-mail?
When using TYPE=*DOC I cannot attach a document that is in the IFS
(document must be in QDLS)
When using TYPE=*DOC the document name cannot exceed 10 characters?
When I start STRTCPSVR for STMP my system performance drops noticeably
At one point in my setting up my system I had a problem where my e-mails
were not being sent out, I could not find
a way to display the e-mails that were queued up waiting to be sent.
Once I fixed the setup problem all the e-mails
were sent ok. Is there a way to set all the e-mails that are waiting to
be sent?

Is there another method to send email from the iSeries that would allow
me to do the above mentioned items?

Thanks in advance for your help with my questions.

Richard
