I could not find how to display in 132 columns in STRDBG. Do you a setting
for this?

I love the Copy-Append feature of the emulator. Also, set the display so
that the trimming rectangle stays after editing.

CODE is nice if you copy with the right format. If the STRCPYSCN technique
were used, thered be all the other stuff, and Textpad is better, IMO, for
that kind of Search-Replace effort.

BTW, someone has RPG rulers for TextPad - neat.

Cheers

A small point.

If you are going to do this also consider adding "append" and "next" to your
toolbar so you can copy all the code at once and then paste it. No need to
be caught in doing 22 lines at a time.

Another good editor TextPad is called Code400. That seems especially good
fr this sort of thing.

Vern, please consider using a 132 column screen instead of 80. Its easy to
get used to and its worth it. Set the windows to use the same size type and
font so the change from 80 to and from 132 doesn't tie your eyeballs in
knots.

You may have to do it twice, if there is source data off to the right.

Then use an editor like TextPAd or CodeWright or ? to massage things -
voila!
