Dan,

When you go to V5, I think you MUST upgrade to CAX. You're running (as I
recall), the last version of Client Access that supported APPC connectivity.
Are you using NS/Router to connect?

Geez, the version of Client Access matters how the icon behaves in
Excel?!?!? Why am I surprised, eh?

Don't ask me why; they've got all the PC software locked down tight
right now, but my Win98SE box is running v3r1m3 with the latest SP.
(The XP boxes are running CAE, out of compatibility necessity, I
guess.)

This little issue isn't enough for me to ask the support group to
upgrade me to CAE. Once we upgrade from v4r5 to v5, I'll ask.

Can anyone tell me *what* exactly the icon calls? Would I find a
reference to it in the Windoze registry? Or somewhere else? I was
wondering if I would be able to permanently unload the icon from Excel,
then go back and manually create a new icon for an existing toolbar.

TIA, Dan
