Hi Rick,
SLIP connections are not properly supported from v5r1 onward; you
cannot even create them from the green and black screen. You may need to
get Ops Nav working (and apply the latest service pack to it), then delete
the TCPPTP profiles and recreate them with Ops Nav. The authorisation is
slightly different too, it no longer uses an *AUTL, but has an
authorisations panel for the PTP profiles in Ops Nav.

Email me off-list if you need any extra advice.

We just upgraded to v5r1 a couple days ago. We have 2 SLIP lines that
we used to remotely access the AS/400.

For some reason, these have quit working. The modems will not go to
answer. When we do a WRKTCPPTP the status is now OUTQ....prior to this
upgrade it was RINGW. When we try "starting" them, they immediately
"end session".

When we dial the lines...they do not answer. UGH!

Anyone have any experience with this problem??

Thanks!

Rick--
