Wasn't there also a direct-connect cable you could use? It was a special purpose cable just for the situation where the 8" diskettes won't work on the new machines. The cables were used once per conversion, but gosh someone must have one kicking around? --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@MartinVT.com --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: midrange-l@midrange.com Date: Monday, December 02, 2002 07:54:42 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Sys/36 Migration Software At 13:15 12/02/2002, Art Tostaine wrote: >Does anybody have this software that I can borrow/buy/use? If I misremember correctly, you can just do a savelibr or fromlibr on the S/36, and use the rsts36libm command (part of the S36EE migration utilities - free) on the AS400 to restore. There was a migration utility on the S36 side that packed everything up nice and neat, but if you can't find it, it's not a very big deal, as long as you have all the source, and you're not bringing over assembler or wsu, neither of which is supported in the 36E.
