At an authorized workstation, he can grant authority to the workstation for him (or any other user with *ALLOBJ or *SERVICE) authority to use a particular workstation. I can't find my copy of Al's system values handout. A client is being told by his parent company to change his QLMTSECOFR value to a 1. He then cannot sign on at his workstation. Does he then have to grant object authority to all the workstations in order to be able to sign on somewhere other than the console? I'd try that here, but I don't think this client would appreciate me messing around. Thanks, Paul Nelson 630-327-8665 Cell 708-923-7354 Home -- _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
