Gosh I'd forgotten that. Every morning you came in you pushed the "Test Lamps" pushbutton. If a lamp was out you phoned IBM and a service engineer parachuted into the parking lot. More like a historical curiosity. Like finding an old radio that uses tubes and seeing if you can make it work. Makes me wonder just how many S/3x "museums" are out there in garages and warehouses. I always wanted to get a front panel to a S/3 or S/370 and replace the indicator lights with a string of twinklers and mount it in my office door. :) J. Ki
