IBM discontinued the 5494 but Perle's 594 does a great job. And it'll work
with IP using Anynet.

Thanks,

Does IBM still peddle the 5494 controller? We've used that, and Perle
devices. Allows you to hook up a cluster of twinax devices to your lan.

One of our customers uses several local twinax printers. They want to
move
one of their business units (but not the AS/400) to California. The
business unit uses most of these twinax printers.

What is the best way for printed output to be sent to these twinax
printers
over the Internet? Any ideas on budget numbers?

Thanks,

John
