Malcolm Haines is a genius (and this put's it lightly), who worked for
IBM's AS/400 Division for many years. He was forced to fight for the
platform with both hands tied behind his back, which must had to have been
extremely frustrating.

I believe that his (likely self-engineered) title was "AS/400 Minister or
Propaganda".

He did a Monty Python like video in the early 90's called "The greatest
system in the world" (I've been looking for it this morning, and can't find
it.) If I remember correctly, there is an IBM part number for it.

He effectively reprieved it in the late 90's on a CD called FATSO.

About a year and a half ago, he left IBM to enter a start-up venture which
like so many technology start-up's didn't start, and he is returning to IBM
today. When he resigned (which is think was more technically a leave of
absence), the code words on this list were "Elvis is dead".

This is great for IBM and great for the system.
