Neil/Kirk: Already understood about adding in pairs; it just wasn't obvious where. I had seen the horizontal cover just below half-way down labelled as a 2389; it looked from the outside like something reminiscent of a 'book' in an older/larger AS/400. After I slid out the horizontal black plastic air-flow baffle, the blue tabs on the 2389 first unlatched, then leveraged the whole thing out (and back in). Turned out to be a large 'tray' that was essentially the riser for memory sticks. Removed two spacers and replaced with the memory sticks and plugged it back in (by pressing the blue tabs back in place). Easy with the simple hint where to look. Works like a charm. Thanks.
