Tom, Yes you would need a second LAN card as LAN console requires a Dedicated card. That said however, there is little to gain by using LAN console on a non-LPAR system. You still need operations console (serial cable) anyway for the primary (or in your case only) partition. I have far less problem with Operations Console now than when it first came up but unless you need access to 'The COn' from outside the computer room, I'd stay Twinax. - Larry McGivern, Tom wrote:
