Thanks Rob. I was on the right track then. I did go through to DSPSRVPGM and look at all that was included. I was just wondering if there was documentation out there to tell me what 'system' under QC2SYS means and how it is used. I use that function so I know that one, but what about the 200 others! Just thought there was one nicely documented repository of C functions. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the tips. Sample: DSPSRVPGM SRVPGM(QC2SYS) DETAIL(*PROCEXP) DSPSRVPGM SRVPGM(QC2IO ) DETAIL(*DTAEXP) Then you could search on all these. There are better ways. But, in case any are missing from the documentation and you like to sleuth... I bind QC2LE to many programs for use of the string function(s) and I can look into the binding directory and see the service programs, but I have never found a good source to explain what's in there and how it works. -----Original Message----- From: rob@dekko.com [mailto:rob@dekko.com] Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 11:06 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: C Functions List This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Or vice versa - Has anyone come up with a good list of RPG functions available to C programmers? Just kidding. Or were you just referring to the standard includes that IBM ships with every system?
