Synon is no longer Synon, today the 2/e product is called Advantage 2/E and is
owned by Computer Associates. For a while Sterling Software named it Cool:2/e
which, of course, not many folks thought too much of. There are still a number
of companies that use it in various degrees. At Extol (the edi company) the
majority of their iSeries product is written with it 3 years worth by me.
Where I am today about 5% of the applications use it.

Computer Associate's support site is http://esupport.ca.com/ but the knowledge
base is behind a registered site http://esupport.ca.com/index.html?StarTcc as
well as an open forum http://esupport.ca.com/index.html?OpenForums. You should
check if your company has been paying the maintenance for the product. If so
you'll be able to register for access.

I don't know of any dedicated lists for the product.

Good luck,
Bill
