HTTPAPI does "https" (HTTP over SSL/TLS) as well as both Basic and Digest authentication, which is probably pretty close to what you need. (I just added the Basic and Digest authentication last week!) I was actually thinking about implementing EDI-INT AS2 with it (or finding some other way to do it) since Wal-Mart has made it a requirement for their business partners.
