Steve,
Check the CODE400-L archive or get a newsreader and link to
news.software.ibm.com. There is a news group for CODE/400 on there as well.
Goods responses from both. You are finding out how easy CODE/400 makes you
productive.

Thank you,
Matt Tyler

Subject: code400 connectivity

ok, I am giving code400 a try and am getting nowhere.

I am w2k, v5r1, connect to the as400 via dsl/vpn.

After adding the as400 as a server I click the ptf's button and code400 just
sits there. In another panel I attempt to retrieve the library list from
the as400 and again a long period of nothing followed by a code400
application crash.

Does a server have to be running on the as400?

Is there an initial install step by step document from ibm?

thanks,

Steve Richter
