Simon,
Of course you're right. I guess I got focused on one solution and missed the
obvious. Thank you.
However, now I have another problem. When I try to override the QSYSPRT in
my program it doesn't go take effect. If I do the override before I call the
program it works fine.
Here is the code I am using:
*
* Override printer features
*
C eval OvrCmd =
C 'OVRPRTF FILE(QSYSPRT) PAGESIZE(66 80) '
C + 'RPLUNPRT(*YES) SECURE(*YES)'
C call 'QCMDEXC'
C parm OvrCmd 256
C parm 256 CmdLen 15 5
*
*********************
*
* Process API call.
*
C CALL 'QUHDSPH'
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Albert

Why not simply override the attributes of QSYSPRT rather than
pointing to a
completely different file? For example:
OVRPRTF QSYSPRT PAGESIZE(x y *ROWCOL)
