Such a setup is not going to have a change mgmt system in place. The answer has to come from IBM. OS400 should retain the full source code used to create an object. Store it within the object itself and provide a retrieve command to get it when it is needed. With all the dasd available today, this would have no impact on system performance. Still, this kind of daily routine would surely benefit anyone who might be concerned about maintaining source-object integrity. Thanx.
