Subject: Disaster Recovery, IPLing from SAVSYS tapes

Hi all,
        I have a client who :
- has a set of SAVSYS tapes cut from their production E95;
- he has been provided an F60 and an E50 for a D/R practice;

He is having problems IPLing the F60 from his E95-Savsys - it is my belief
that the E to F have different microcode and that this will not work - any
comments?
I believe he may have better luck IPLing the E50.
Is their any documentation, advice & guidance on this subject; I've had a
browse of the archives, no luck. I made a few searches on Google, no luck
there either.

I will not be billing the client for this assistance or any advice passed on
via Midrange-L. I have in fact recommended he subscribe to Midrange-L.

Kind Regards,
