The init fails indicating that it is the wrong type of cartridge in the device, 
but we have used these cartridges in the past:

Command used:
 INZTAP DEV(TAP03) NEWVOL(092202) CHECK(*NO) DENSITY(1600)

Message received:
Wrong type of cartridge in device TAP03.

If we use a density of 3200 it works.

What are the symptoms?  Is the parameter no longer valid or does the
