rAj,

The iSeries-toolkit has RJDLIBLE command that will remove a library
from
a library list. I also have an AJDLIBLE command but it is not included
in
the iSeries-toolkit.

Here is a link to the CL that supports a Remove Job Description Library

List Entry (RJDLIBLE):

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/iseries-toolkit/iseries-toolkit/src/qclsrc/rjdlible.icl?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup

You can download the whole package free from

Hello,
We are in a situation to alter the Libary list in the JOBD.
 We
need to remove 3 to 4 libraries, and add 1 library to the library list
(
INLLIBL ).

We have to do for almost 5000 + jobd's. Instead of doing it
manually, I am looking for a way to change on the fly by writting a
program.

I can retrive the value of the JOBD's library list, and I
can
manipulate the string of 275 length, and change accordingly the string
or
each bucket. But, since the CHGJOBD does not accept the string or
one
variable ( also it does not also accept blank in the variable).

If anybody give me some suggestion, on how to change the
JOBD'S
Library list on the fly, it will be of very useful.

         Thanks a lot

rAj
