No you are spot on. The jobd is only relevant to the starting of the job,
and even then only if the SBMJOB specifies that the job description SHOULD
be used.

Yes, Leif, it is, but it is associated at the moment the job starts, not
when the job is running. Do you think that an already running job will
access its job description even after its start ?
Sorry, i'm not interested to find a problem where there are'nt, but would
understand if i'm wrong about an important OS/400 concept.
