It's my understanding that AIX is not currently supported on iSeries. However
it is a Statement of Direction.

Subject: LPAR, OS/400, AIX, LINUX

To the list,

With the advent of LPAR and the ability to have guest operating systems
on one machine, does anybody know of any examples of a company actually
running applications under AIX or LINUX in one partition and
traditional 400 applications in another? Specifically, I'm looking for
somebody running AIX & Oracle.

Any IBMers lurking out there that know?
