It isn't that. We have tested this. What it turned out to be is I think
security, but I don't know why. I think it can't grab the length of the
spool file. When we passed in the length it worked. I have adjusted my
program so it passes the length of the spool file. Now it runs fine.

      Could it be that the program isn't selecting the right splf number ?
If you work interactively, it's intuitive to select the right one, but the
pgm might miss it.
That's if you're sending splfs, of course.
I set up several wrappers for downloads and the tricky part was getting the
parms to match the interactive selections they replaced. I would compare
joblogs for all parameters.
