Ray,

welcome to our world. it WILL be better than the hp world, once you get
your feet wet. I promise.

as far as toggling, - nope, no such thing, although you can accomplish half
of what you want, with an added bonus/feature ;)

to toggle from the list to the command line (sort of) press F9. This will
move your cursor to the command line, with the added bonus of retrieving
the last command entered.

also, if you are using client access or other 5250 emulation, do yourself a
favor and map a key to the 'newline' keystroke (I map the 'end' button to
'newline'). This is my favorite cursor movement key - it moves your
cursor to the first input capable position on the next line - sorta like a
return key.

This was, i believe an IBM exclusive - the key was included on all 5250
display stations, and i found that years ago when I went to pc, i couldn't
live without it.

hth,

rick

The first question I have that was not in the archives is: when I'm at the
command line, and in a menu of listed options, how can I toggle between the
listed options and the command line without using the cursor? For example,
if I list the members in my SRCPF, I currently use the cursor to move from
the command line to any of the members listed...while it's not a real
bother, it seems there should be a way to toggle.

TIA for any help

Ray Shahan
