I'm a little bit biased being based near Indy but you will find that the
downtown area is extremely compact with most everything (shopping, hotels,
dining, etc.) connected via tunnels or with extremely short walks. I
believe there are at least 3 hotels (Westin, Marriot, Hyatt) connected via
(as my kids call them) gerbel tunnels to the conference center. I've
included a url to a map to help anyone get to a perspective.

It will be cool but there is a potential for some decent weather.

Also, remember that Indy was selected specifically because people were
complaining about the hotel costs.........

Little bit of trivia. Indianapolis has more interstates connecting into
it than any other city in America. And there is a push to add more.
Downtown is only 20 minutes from the airport. One of the reasons Indiana
is called the crossroads of America. I just spent a weekend there and
discovered all this in the hotel book.

I wouldn't quite call Indianapolis in March polar bear.

Folks:

Turns out that I won't be able to make COMMON in Denver after all...
budgeting changes kind of screwed that up.

I've been promised that the next COMMON is a sure thing.

Please feel free to have a midrange.com gathering without me ... maybe I
can video conference in, if someone brings a webcam :)
