I'm a little bit biased being based near Indy but you will find that the downtown area is extremely compact with most everything (shopping, hotels, dining, etc.) connected via tunnels or with extremely short walks. I believe there are at least 3 hotels (Westin, Marriot, Hyatt) connected via (as my kids call them) gerbel tunnels to the conference center. I've included a url to a map to help anyone get to a perspective. It will be cool but there is a potential for some decent weather. Also, remember that Indy was selected specifically because people were complaining about the hotel costs......... http://www.indy.org/images/downtownmap.gif Michael Crump Saint-Gobain Containers 1509 S. Indianapolis has more interstates connecting into it than any other city in America. And there is a push to add more. Downtown is only 20 minutes from the airport. One of the reasons Indiana is called the crossroads of America. I just spent a weekend there and discovered all this in the hotel book. I wouldn't quite call Indianapolis in March polar bear.
