I do. If not, times in Management Central monitors will be off, by 5 or 6 hours in the case of Central Time. That's been a common question on the list. I thought the locale settings might handle UTCOFFSET, but they don't. There are system values for locales, and job overrides for the same. Are there environment variables that could handle this? I don't know exactly what is done, but QTIME is the local time. I suspect that the internal clock is GMT.Speaking of which, does anyone actually set the QUTCOFFSET system value? On a similar note ... how do you deal with a system that is used by multiple people in multiple time zones? Is there a local job UTCOFFSET variable available? david _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
