On V5R1 you can change the system valut QVFYOBJRST to 1 to allow you to
restore objects without signatures. I wouldn't think this would change in
V5R2 since it was new to V5R1.

I know that the systems are now signing objects to ensure trust-worthiness.
The WRKDBF tool from Bill Reger (www.wrkdbf.com) has two objects I could
not
restore because of this signature.

like there was with CISC -> RISC migration?

The system administrator where I am working told me that he heard or read
that programs would need reencapsulation during this migration....
