There is an API to reclaim activation groups. If the other programs are not setting on LR and are not running in the default activation group, you can RCLACTGRP *ELIGIBLE to shut down those programs thus releasing your lock. -----Original Message----- Chris, Yes it is a QTEMP file. Also this way, I don't have to open for each record but clear it for process and still share it. Yes I am calling the QCMDEXEC to clear with QTEMP qualified for clear.
