Rob, Thanks for pointing out my dyslexia. Even with all the technology
available today when words are spelled right they still can slip by even
when they are not what you intended to say.

Thanks for the reference to the API, I'll research and see what I can do.

Ron

Hey Ron,

Did you have a 3 martini lunch? The spelling errors are so bad I don't
understand if

I) You use Sequel or you are initiating a lawsuit against them.
II) Do they start their objects as user spaces or store them?
III) 'When we change files.' Is not a complete sentence. You left me
hanging there.

But, back to your question, are they using the standard list format for an
API? If so, then with the proper use of the offsets, QUSPTRUS, and a
little code you might be able to do this.

Hi All,

I'm looking for a way to scan usrspcs for occurrences of field names. Here
is the situatuion, we sue Sequel and they start their objects as user
spaces. When we change files. Mostly if we delete or change the atribute
of a field I need to know what reports use them. I would like to make
this
a batch process and not have to scan spool files.

TIA
Ron
