Not real expensive, we do not need anything "top of the line". We are currently using Quickbooks. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com] On Behalf Of bacollins@verinettech.com Sent: Thursday, August 29, 2002 2:20 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: Accounting Software Justin, What kind of price range are you looking for? Users can do most anything in set-up. >From a user's viewpoint - JDE gives them much power over how things work, the coder is left to learn some very odd techniques. SAP - sucks, period, from a users viewpoint and from a coders viewpoint, don't let management (ceo, cfo types) listen to the hype, it is too complicated, and usually costs 20 times more to implement and takes years (yes I said years) longer to implement than people involved estimate. Millennium is so-so, but most I have run into would rather have more functionality, I've not personally seen the code to voice an opinion on how it is written.
