Look under the V5R1 Communications category of System APIs, and then TCP/IP
Management.

Good Day Midrange Users -

I am sure this question has been asked before, however
I searched the Midrange-L archives and was not able to find
specific information regarding an API or set of APIs
that will perform the equivalent functions found in the

NETSTAT - or - WRKTCPSTS - Work with TCP/IP Network Status Menu.

Option 3 - "Work with TCP/IP Connection Status"

I have heard that it is possible to write a sockets program interface
that will do this.

my preference will be to access a collection of TCP/IP APIs
list the connection details and allow me to retrieve a specific entry

I would like to have a monitoring program in batch mode that will
alert me of a problem and I could run commands to resolve the connectivity
problem

Thanks for your advice and suggestions
