What message are you getting on your application?
Are you getting a message in QSYSOPR?
If you open iSeries Navigator
-expand your system
-expand Network
-expand Servers
-open TCP/IP  (not to be confused with opening TCP/IP configuration under
network)
-Right click on NetServer
does your name appear?

Where is the password stored for accessing the IFS (I am on V5R1)? I am
using my password that I use to log on the green-screen and it doesn't
work.
