I don't often get a chance to do this (or perhaps I just don't make the time that I should), but I just wanted to drop a note that ISN'T whining <smile>. To everyone on the RPG compiler team that happens to read this (and especially to you Hans, since I bust your chops so often), I wnated to offer a heartfelt thank you. I've been spending the last couple of weeks writing some true procedures to make my development a little more manageable. In so doing, I've become very familiar with the procedure interface, and in particular CONST and *NOPASS. Between these two, I have been able to create some very powerful procedures that make my the next higher tier much easier to design and develop. I'm still learning; I have a tendency to apply Java design techniques to RPG that occasionally gets me in trouble, but despite my ineptness I'm absolutely thrilled with what you've done. I'm definitely in favor of signature overloading and qualified references now that I've gotten a little more under my belt, but what's already there is quite powerful. Thanks again. Joe
