OK, I'm not wanting to thrown water on a good idea, but.... Why do I need a $500 piece of equiptment to tell me where I'm supposed to be at a conference? Not to mention the software/time costs? Frankly, I just printoff the grids before I hit the plane then on the way down circle all the ones I'm interested with a yellow hi-liter with appropriate notations, then I do a critical path with a red market of THE one that I'm going to go see. On the day of conference, I compare my grid with the one published in the (conference publication's name dujour that's not been taken by IBM for some marketing campaign), make the appropriate quick mods and walk to my first session... In all total, I'm carrying with me usually 5 sheets of paper with the SINGLE DAY's grids, hotel/room layouts and my copy of (see previous reference)....and have saved the $500! ...at the end of the day, I just toss them. If my primary session interest is canceled, I can see AT A GLANCE what my secondary contingencies are and just go there... Perhaps my non-tech solution isn't glamorous enough...:) But, if anyone wants to send me a Sony palm with the latest and greatest o/s and technologies, I'll consider using it...:) Don in DC
