The LTO is very slow at searching the tape.  If you do a RSTLIB and just
specify a library name it can run for hours even if it is a small library.
 If you know the sequence number and add that in on the RSTLIB, then
restore seems just as fast as what I was used to from using QIC and 8MM.

I suspect a full restore would be just as fast.

DSPTAP can run for hours.

Fortunately our backup process saves the sequence information in a
database file so we just had to change our routines to look it up before
we do a restore.
