Subject: Management Central Problem

Hi All, I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Running V5R1 of OS/400 and W2K with Ops Nav for CA Express V5R1 with
Service Pack SI02795.

I am having a problem in getting Management Central (MC) to start.

Firstly, I have had MC running on this laptop for many, many AS/400s -
just having a problem with this one, and I can't identify if it is the
400 or something on my laptop.

Here are the details.

1. MC Central System is set to 192.168.0.9 (ip of the 400).

2. When I click on MC, I get a "Unable to complete the connection to
central system '192.168.0.9'." message.

3. The MC server jobs (QYPSSRV and QYPSJSVR) are up and running and
there is nothing in the job log for either.

4. One of the QZRCSRVS jobs has the following messages in its joblog
(for the time I request management central).

CPFB921 - Management Central Server job was not submitted. Reason code
01. (Reason Codes: 01 - The QYPSSRV server job is already running. )
CPFB921 - Management Central Server job was not submitted. Reason code
01.
TCP1A10 - MGTC server not started.
TCP1A77 - STRTCPSVR completed successfully; however errors occurred.

5. Everything else in Ops. Nav is working fine.

6. Having checked the archives, it looks as if TCP/IP is configured OK.

changed)
                   AAAAAAAA

Option 12

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
