Did you mean "I did a WRKWTR option 4 (ENDWTR) followed by option 1(STRRMTWTR)" or did you mean "I deleted the OUTQ (DLTOUTQ) followed by re-creating the OUTQ (CRTOUTQ)"? If the latter, you still need to start the writer. You also need to be sure that it was re-created exactly like the previous (working) OUTQ was. When you changed the host table, it was on the iSeries, right? I mean CFGTCP option 10... When our guys change an address here, I CFGTCP option 10, endwtr, strprtwtr. I use device descriptions rather than a remote outq, but the concepts should be the same. --buck
