If you want/need to retain the full path info why not zip the QNTC
directories and then save that one object.

QNTC?

Rats! OK, so I want to CPY the contents to a directory on the AS400, then
save to tape.

Using Ops Nav, I've created a folder in IFS/Root called SAVES and set up a
file share for it. Then I issued the command:
CPY OBJ('qntc/dallas/dallas_d/acct/accounts payable/*') TODIR('/saves')

All of the individual files in the accounts payable folder on the NT
Server are copied to the saves folder, no problem. However the
subdirectories within the accounts payable folder cause the following
error message:
Object name is a directory.

My question now is: how do I copy a directory, and all of it's
subdirectories, from a QNTC share to an IFS share (and retain the full
path info)?
