Maybe, but they (once again) don't follow the standards.
Anyway, my point was leaning in favor of the Java tools that are around,
that meet standards and comply with reference implementations.
The IBM stuff works too, the DB2 extender is sensitive to XML subtleties
(sic?), but half the free (and working) Java tools that work in the XML
space came from IBM in the first place.
