Interesting analogy Steven - never thought of it quite that way :-)

It is good to be appreciated. I serve that roll and a bunch of others (that
also get no appreciation <G>)...

At my previous job, we were a very large manufacturer and at Corporate where
I was located, the R&D were also there along with all the other functions
(QC, A/P, A/R, G/L, etc) AND there was also one of the manufacturing plants
and warehouses. So we also had a good sized maintenance department. We used
to get together and talk and it was AMAZING the similarities there are
between IT and Maintenance. People we always asking for stuff, complaining
when something didn't go right, calling 24 hours a day, etc. :-)
