It's probably not the keyboard rate.  It works fine with other AS/400's. The
obvious difference that I see is that this is the only AS/400 I dial into.
All the other connections are over a cable modem.   But I can not see why
that would make a difference.  I checked, there's no macros involved.

Windoze control panel, keyboard, repeat rate ??
