We did get the call and decided that the $7500 IBM wanted for 25 copies of Client Access would be better spent on Mochasoft ($250 for the site license) and TN3270+ ($40 a user) to make up the extra quantity. Mocha works ok for light users but people doing heavy data entry or programming would be better off with TN3270+ which is very nice, robust and has the added capability of doing VT220 type of telnet in the same client. Unfortunately the TN5250 standard became unfocused near the end of its life and all the packages we reviewed had flaws or non-standard behavior. In fact Client Access has the most non-standard behavior (tilted towards usability). Green screen windows and buffer management seem to be the things that make a stability difference as opposed to features. At least it was good news for the TN5250 emulation vendors. Regards Konrad
