Sad isn't it?

<sarcasm> But with this way kewl Java stuff coming along it gets better!
</sarcasm>

The requirements for Eclipse are steep. I just bought a Thinkpad 2 months
ago, P4 1.6ghz, 256mb, XPpro and find out that 512mb is the reasonable
minimum and needs more to run stuff on the built in server while testing.
Saw it run last week on Thinkpads with 1ghz PIII with 1mb of RAM and it was
painful. Moral of the story: RAM. Lots of it. I ordered another 512mb
Monday.

If IBM took over M$ we'd be in worse shape. I used OS/2 from 2.1 to 4.0.
Solid stuff, no marketing. Where have I heard that before?

:RAM. Go to 256 at least, 512 would be better. You've got
:plenty of horsepower, but it's wasting it's time paging RAM as
:it tries to multi-task. RAM's still pretty cheap.

:128MB RAM running W2K SP2. The only thing running on this PC
:is 2 display sessions and 1 printer session. Whenever someone
:prints something to
:the printer the PC just DIES!!!!!!! It takes 10-15 seconds after
:hitting a key to get a response, even just inputting data into
