Not sure if this is related... apparently if using Service pack 2, fixes below
required for all as400s, and reverse, if have fixes on as/400s, must use Svc
pack 2. I'm only beginning to use product ... jim
Topic: V5R1 Client Access Service Pack 2 - Important

Q: I want to put V5R1 Client Access Service Pack 2 on my PC's. Is there
anything important I need to know?
Q: I put V5R1 Client Access Service Pack 2 on my PC's, and now I can't use any
Management Central functions. Is there anything important I need to know?
A: Yes! New fixes have been added for Management Central in Client Access
Service Pack 2 that will require OS/400 fixes to be installed on all iSeries
servers that use Management Central (including all V5R1 central systems and
endpoint systems). This is needed in order for the client to communicate to the
central system, and the central system to communicate to each endpoint.

Here is the list of required base operating system fixes:

SI01375, SI01376, SI01377, SI01378, SI01838 (all for product 5722ss1)
