Eric,  The save file does not need to exist before sending it.  If you
change to NAMEFMT 1 the save file will be created for you.
The transfer looks different, ie.  put /qsys.lib/library.lib/savefile.savf
but the results are the same.

I don't have an example handy but as I recall there was a catch with save
files, the save file structure had to exist already on the machine you
were
FTPing it to.  Otherwise what you got was unusable.  Maybe include a RCMD
CRTSAVF before sending it.  If this was the problem that is :)
