As already mentioned, secure ftp (sftp or scp) is implemented by ssh. The easy way to do this is to install OpenSSH on your favorite unix machine. Use that to copy the files and then transfer using regular ftp from the unix machine to your iSeries. No unix? Well check OpenSSH's web site (http://www.openssh.org) and see if it runs on another architecture (or better put linux or some version of BSD on an old box and use that). Cost to you: $0. James Rich
